This was my first photo book. When it was published I felt deeply unhappy with the printing and binding and the overall feeling was that I made many mistakes with producing my first book. Later when I published Eastward Bound I reprinted many of the Mongolian photos there, so they could finally have the quality of printing that I wished for.

I recently got back one of the copies of Mongolia and although I can still complain about it, I must admit it also has a certain charm. Some of the photos that didn’t make Eastward Bound are still quite beautiful and all in all the book gives a nice impression of Mongolia. It’s a debut. It’s not a perfect production, I didn’t have any experience in making books, but for a collector it could be fun to have. Maybe.
