During my last trip to Kyoto in October I was working a lot with a Mamiya C3 camera. It’s an old camera, probably built in the 1970’s, and I have had it with me for a long time. Sometimes I don’t touch it for years. Almost like I forgot that I have the camera, but then I start longing for the 6×6 format pictures again and the overall feel of the camera. It’s a wonderful camera to work with. It’s very dear to me. These very quiet pictures were made at the temple gardens and shrines in Kyoto. It’s an ongoing project.
